  Path: Classes :: Druids
Druids are the keepers of the world and masters of nature with a diverse array of abilities. They are powerful healers, capable of curing poisons and raising fallen comrades in the thick of battle. Druids also command nature's wrath, calling down ranged blasts of energy, summoning swarms of insects, or entangling their foes in the earth. But druids are also masters of the wild, able to shapeshift into a great bear, cat, or even sea lion, gaining their powers in combat or travel. Druids are a diverse class with a variety of playstyles, capable of filling any role.

The only class that can fill just about any role. heal/melee dps/ranged dps/tank, and you can do it with only 2 sets of gear.

Also forgot to mention feral is the way to level once past 10, and you really start to kick butt once you get cat at 20.

you can do this with a paladin also, melee=ret, ranged=shockadin, heal=holy, tank=protection. :)

I told myself I'd never make a druid--I simply never had any desire to. But then, out of a combination of pure curiosity and utter boredom, I rolled one. And I love it. This might be the best pure class in the game, and once I'm done with my current toon's leveling, I'll probably start on the rest of my drood's (that's druid, y'know) levels on her way to 80 and beyond.

I would gladly play the hell out of this class, except when i play i actually enjoy looking cool. I dont want to see a Giant bear ass Constantly instead of all the epics i have.

Would have probably rated higher and had one leveled by now if the 1-20 wasn't so freaking annoying >.<

Druids are the most versatile class in the game. I conceived of mine as a caster, and levelled balance wearing cloth. Recently I figured I was never going to get my pally up, and my guild needed more tanks. A few rep, crafted, and BoE items (and some enchants, dropping my dual tree spec, etc) later I was "defence capped" (uncrittable through talents) and tanking regular ToC-5 with few problems. I must be the only tank around with tailoring as a profession.

This is a crazy unique class that I think hits the perfect marks of balancing a hybrid class. I does each in an interesting, but isn't completely OP. It serves a unique purpose in the class world and I think is one of the best designed classes Blizzard create lore wise, and just how fun it is to play.

Honestly my vote was bias, as I play a druid, but I love this class. You can do everything! Melee+Spell DPS, Tank, and Heal. The only tiff I can have with my class is that you look really doesn't change with gear, but with the new models it really isn't that bad for those who have a passion for the class.

Personally, my vote is definatly bias, as i hold druids as my top stay far away from class....from healing tree's that dont like slow tanks, to boomkins who are obsesed with the charges, and Bears that think chain-pulling is the only way to go....i have a long hate associated with druids. as a class that can be Caster dps, Healer, Tank, Melee dps...all of that in one package.....meeting a druid who knows how to play all those roles isnt hard to find....meeting one that isnt full of him/herself........is impossible once you hit northrend
