Very cool city but it takes a while to get from point A to point B, especially without a mount.

Being a Tauren, I love Thunder Bluff, even if it is annoyingly segregated. Me playing a Tauren however...I rarely go there.

I wonder how it will be affected by the Cataclysm.
Will the bluffs survive?

I can't wait to see how it will be affected by Cataclysm too. If Org and UC are getting changed I hope TB will as well. Maybe with its new leader it will get a new look.

I think it will get more popular as it will be very open to flyers.

Thunderbluff is a very attractive city which always exudes a feeling of tranquility and peace.

...Partially because no one goes there.

Pretty much what Smite said. Very beautiful, serene, and pleasant. I personally never have a problem finding my way around, things are pretty well organized / structured.

TBluff's got the fight stuff... it's a quiet, lag-free city, and the inn, bank, AH and mailbox are all clustered together. Watching the light hit the bluffs at sunset/rise is a really cool sight.

I used to think that the layout and excessive amounts of rises were unneeded and a waste of time. I then saw that they are, in fact, one of the best ways to protect your city against a zombie invasion.

Thunder Bluff was settled fairly recently by the tauren, who successfully drove out the marauding Centaur from their lands. Thunder Bluff is the first city of its kind; for centuries, the tauren wandered the plains as nomads, unable to claim a permanent home. All Horde visitors are welcome here, and the expertise of the tauren in professions ranging from leatherworking to shamanism, druidism to hunting are all practiced and taught here. Unfortunately, the central location of the Thunder Bluff also makes it easily accessible to members of the Alliance. Thus, it is often one of the easier Horde capitals for Alliance players to raid, with Cairne being killed long before Horde reinforcements even becomes an issue.

In order to gain access to Thunder Bluff, visitors must either ride wyverns to the top one of the four towering mesas or be lifted via rope and wood elevators, an invention unique to the tauren.

I've never been able to find anything in this city unless I wasn't looking for it and stumbled across it. Other than that, I do love the location and it is a lovely place.

I love Thunder Bluff.

-Awesome Name
-Logical layout, like spokes for the three rises.
-Beautiful Scenery
-Very open, will only become better with flyers.
-Lag free!

It's not as overpopulated at all times as Org or UC, and the layout is much easier to navigate than the two. It's a little wider spread though, so still takes a little time to get between points. But with the "Rises" named exactly what they have to do with, it's not too difficult. And again, a little fun can be had when Allys try to raid by using any kind of knockback skills and blowin' 'em off the rise :P

As a Blacksmith, I love this place. The anvil and forge are right next to both the AH and the Bank. Makes things so much easier.
