Great instance. I did mostly solo stuff up until I ran this place. This made me realize what I'd been missing out on!

Everyone should go in Caverns of Time:Escape from Durnholde Keep and stay in the Southshore Inn for a little while.

The event with all the Scarlet Monastery NPCs is awesome. Then, go back to SM and see how everything makes sense.

I went there for the first time at level 60 (pre-BC). I didn't know you had to clear the entire Cathedral before attacking the boss. Ouch :-/

My friend I feel your pain, was solo'ing the place on my Rogue back during BC and stealthed all the way to the last two... Once I realised what'd happened didn't even have time to vanish!

The Monastery was once a proud bastion of Lordaeron's priesthood - a center for learning and enlightenment. With the rise of the undead Scourge during the Third War, the peaceful Monastery was converted into a stronghold of the fanatical Scarlet Crusade. The Crusaders are intolerant of all non-human races, regardless of alliance or affiliation. They believe that any and all outsiders are potential carriers of the undead plague - and must be destroyed. Reports indicate that adventurers who enter the monastery are forced to contend with Scarlet Commander Mograine - who commands a large garrison of fanatically devoted warriors. However, the monastery's true master is High Inquisitor Whitemane - a fearsome priestess who possesses the ability to resurrect fallen warriors to do battle in her name.

I've been playing since friends and family beta and this was the first big dungeon that we did when the level cap was 30. Have a lot of fond memories, particularly the cathedral portion, seeing that scripted event at the end I saw what they had in store for us.

Epic, 4 Wings, From the cloth-wearing Doan, to the Herod the Bully, to finally your showdown with the Scarlet Commander Morgaine and Hot Inquisitor Whitemane, wonderfull place, and to the noobs who dont take the time to look, Yes, their are more people hidden in the rooms to the left and right of the Cathedral, so if you think clearing only the rug in the middle is enough, think agian

This is one of my favorites, the drops were useful for the toons I took through it, and it was also the second instance I managed to find a group for (while at a lvl where I'd still get ex from it). I love this one.

A nice place to level 30-40, there must be a reason why most of the time i get nearly instant invites from the dungeonfinder in this level bracket - as a DPS (+cat)!

Back in the days when i was leveling my first char , Cathedral was the spot where i dinged Lv40 and got my very first mount. A tiger of course, farming Darnassus exalted until around Lv40 is something i still do on non-Night Elf chars.

For the ppl that started playing in LK: Before patch 3.x.x.whatever, you got your first mount (the "blue" one) at Lv40, not 20.
